Craftsman Cottage Dream House

Trey and I are toying with the idea of building a house one day, so I've been looking at house plans online lately.  Here are a few of my faves.  We're also looking for ways to build an "expandable" house or to plain just build for less.  First things first, we have to sell our little townhome.  I have no idea if we'll be able to do this in the forseeable future, but it sure is fun to think about...  On another note, we'll be taking Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University this semester in our small group, haha.  I can just see Dave laughing at us now.  I am assuming that we're going to get a drop kick in the gut when it comes to our finances, but hopefully not.  I always love learning new things, so I am looking forward to it.... I think.

My Christmas List

I don't think my husband has read my blog but maybe once, but I thought I'd post a Christmas list anyway!  I've already told him a few things I wanted for Christmas, but when I started telling him about this lens, he got that "deer in the headlights" look and basically told me there was no way he'd get it right.  So, in attempts to make it easier on him... Here you go sweetie!
Now, I still do not expect that I'll actually get this, because I do know it would be hard, especially since it's so close to Christmas... but it sure would be a great surprise!

Another little item that I've been wanting for years, but I can never find them on sale, and I just can't justify spending the money....

Then there's the taboo "cleaning item" that you should never get a woman for a gift...
But, I still want one.  It doesn't matter that I only have 3 small areas of linoleum to "steam."
I have been in the market for one of these, but after Target had their black friday deal of $49 on a regularly $119 steam mop(which I did not get), I just can't spend over $50 on one.
My name is Abby and I am a dealaholic.  I can't pay full price for anything and if I ever buy something and then see if for cheaper, I feel sick!

Honestly though, I am so excited about what my kiddos are getting for Christmas, I don't really care if I get anything.  Christmas with little ones is the best!

Christmas List!

Here are a few of my "wants" this year.  Some realistic, some unrealistic.  But hey, a girl can dream, can't she?

I love this little pie cabinet from pottery barn. It's all we need to complete our "play kitchen" upstairs for the girls!

Maybe not this Christmas, but one day my dream is to look out my window and see this!  Maybe a few cows too!  one day...

I want a steam mop!  Not sure which one I want, but I've heard they are amazing!!!
I love gDiapers, and these are too cute for words!
These are absolutely precious and a must have for a cloth diapered little girl!

This is where I hope to spend relaxing weekends one day.  Don't worry, all of you will be welcome anytime!
Again, probably not this Christmas, and probably not this BIG but I'm not picky when it comes to lake houses!  Maybe we could put the horses behind this monstrosity =)
